Paediatric First aid London / Paediatric First Aid Courses in London and the UK

 

This is an OFSTED approved 2 day paediatric first aid course for child carers leading to a paediatric first aid certificate which is valid for three years. The training course lasts 2 days (12 hours).

The cost of our 2 day courses in Central London is £110.00 (price includes VAT)

 

Course Content (Paediatric first aid Courses London & UK)

  • Accident Approach
  • Dealing with unconsciousness
  • Treating someone who has stopped breathing and whose heart has stopped
  • Dealing with wounds & bleeding
  • Looking after a casualty who is shocked
  • Recognising medical conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy & asthma
  • Treating broken bones and soft tissue injuries
  • Recognising hypothermia and treating it
  • Looking after burns and scalds
  • How to help a poisoned victim
  • Obtaining advanced medical assistance
  • Legislation, Ofsted, NCMA & PLA policy and first aid kits
  • Dealing with sudden illness in children
  • First Aid for specific medical conditions, epilepsy, diabetes, allergies, asthma, meningitis, sickle cell & haemophilia.
  • Dealing with convulsions and fits

Assessment (Paediatric first aid training London)

Delegates will be continually assessed by their tutor throughout the course. At the end of the course delegates will be assessed twice in their practical skills (CPR & Injury). Upon successful completion of these assessments the delegate will be awarded a Paediatric First Aid certificate which will be valid for three years.

Where can I attend a course?

Open paediatric first aid courses are run only in London. By arrangement we can provide you with bespoke in-house courses to suit your specific training needs anywhere in the UK. The open paediatric first aid training in London takes place at a venue near Tower Bridge. Paediatric first aid certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course.

Paediatric First aid Courses London / Cost

The cost of an OFSTED approved 2 day paediatric first aid course, group booking at your place of work is £545 (price is inclusive of VAT) and you can have upto a maximum of 12 delegates on the training. If you wish to book as an individual on one of our open paediatric first aid courses in central London, the cost is £110 per person (price is inclusive of VAT).
